Dr. Qazi Haque

Dr. Qazi Haque is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Adelaide, where he completed his PhD in Economics and was awarded the University Doctoral Research Medal for excellence in research. Before returning to Adelaide as a Lecturer, he held positions as an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Western Australia. He has also held visiting research appointments at the University of Oxford, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and De Nederlandsche Bank. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Australasian Macroeconomics Society as Secretary. He is also a Research Associate at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis at the Australian National University. His research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics and applied macroeconometrics, with a focus on policy-relevant empirical analysis. Dr. Haque’s research has been funded by the Australian Research Council and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.
