Prof. Gunther Andersson
Prof. Gunther Andersson has been appointed at Flinders University since 2007. He is leading a research group in surface and interface analysis. He is Deputy Director of the Flinders Institute of Nanoscale Science and Technology. His research activities are in photocatalytic water splitting, organic photovoltaics, and liquid surfaces. In photocatalysis his research activities focus on cocatalysts generated from metal clusters and overlayers to enhance the performance of the catalysts. Prof. Andersson has developed an ion scattering spectroscopy method for depth profiling with atomic resolution which can be applied to a large range of solid and liquid surfaces. In his laboratory a large range of methods are available for investigating the electronic and chemical structure at interfaces.
